Got the new Dog's D'amour cd - When bastards go to Hell on Friday. Just got round to listening to it. Pretty cool cd.
most of the instruments have been played by Tyla himself. couple of the old dog's appear on certain track (Darrel Bath gtr & Hentry Twinch keys). The other person who appears on all tracks is Yella (he's from The Hellacopters isnt he).
There are a few other musicians but i've never heard of em. 14 tracks as well

Last i heard from the man was that he was putting a new line up together. Got to admit its getting harder to tell a dog's cd from a Tyla cd these days.
Yeah, thats what I was thinking. Why aren't the other people involved? They all busy, or does he suck to work with?
Not sure Carl. Also well worth a purchase are the 2 DVD's by Tyla. One is him solo and acoustic and the other is him backed by the guys from anti product.
The cd with Dregen is cool too.

Two years ago it was announced that Steve James would be coming back and the classic line-up would be making a new album. Then the Monsters Of Rock tour happened at short notice; Steve was roadying for the Levellers at the time, so the line-up for that was Tyla, Jo Dog, Bam and Bam's wife Share.Originally posted by Carl I.:

Then comes the news that "Jo, Bam and Share have decided they do not wish to be part of the Dogs anymore", and Tyla goes off to make a "Dogs" album on his own with some bugger called Yella (not a Hellacopters member, incidentally). Darrell Bath appears on the title track, Henry Twich appears on a couple of others.
Now, to me, the Dogs were A BAND in the fullest sense of the word. Some bands can get away with only having one or two original members, but to me the Dogs are not one of them (much like Hanoi Rocks and the Lords Of The New Church, but let's not go there...!). If Bam ain't there, it's not the Dogs at all.
I can't see how this is supposed to be a Dogs album, as opposed to another Tyla solo effort.

Haven't the faintest, bud.
Yella is TYLA's girlfriend, a performer, usually plays with fire.
I already have seen both them live.
